On 13-17 August 2012, 40 representatives of different schools from minority and rural areas of Azerbaijan came together in a South Caucasus Youth Parliament as elected delegates in order to vote joint declaration. The meeting was facilitated by Azerbaijani, Georgian and Dutch experts.
The delegates debated on issues like: education and youth problems, non-oil economic sector development and environmental protection. At the same time they were engaged in workshops on communication and listening skills, negotiation and presentation skills. At the end of the parliamentary simulation delegates going to Brussels were elected.
